There are so many different ways to brew coffee these days; pourover, aeropress, french press, Chemex, single cup, espresso, cold brew, the list grows longer every day. The most convenient single cup formats, cup and pod, can get a little confusing when everyone has a different name for them.
So, what is the difference between a Soft Pod and a RealCup?
The RealCup is a small recyclable plastic cup that is very similar to a K-Cup, and can be used in all Keurig brewers. After brewing, the cup must be separated from the lid and grounds by the pull tab. The grounds can then be composted, while the cup is recyclable. We offer RealCups in seven different blends:
- Breakfast in Bed Medium Roast
- Rodeo Drive Dark Roast
- Go Bold French Roast
- Hawaiian Hazelnut
- Jamaican Me Crazy
- Vanilla French Toast
Our soft pods, along with the packaging, are 100% compostable. The pods are disc shaped filters that come pre-packaged with grounds inside. After brewing, the pod and package can be discarded directly into your compost bin, where they will decompose and become a part of the nutrient mixture.
We offer over 20 varieties of coffee in the soft pod format, including Colombian and South Pacific Dark Roast both of which are Fair Trade and Organic certified.
